It hasn’t been an easy year for many of us, especially as we continue to watch in horror the conflict in our region.
The media industry continues to face challenges as well. At Wishbox Media, we are also reflecting on how the past year has unfolded for us.
Despite the challenges, we’ve achieved milestones driven by our commitment to serve our clients and share impactful stories.
We created multimedia stories on youth, women, and other marginalized societies; we provided communications services and designed an English-language booklet for The Swedish Dialogue Institute for the Middle East and North Africa. We launched LiveTalks to provide tools and tips on digital media trends.
We trained new journalists and embarked on new projects, such as our new partnership with the Washington, DC-based International Center for Journalists. We will be providing you with media content production every month and are currently in the process of creating an animation video on climate change for the French media development agency CFI.
As we bid farewell to a year filled with both trials and triumphs, we remain steadfast in our mission to bring meaningful stories and insights to you.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Here’s to a peaceful and prosperous year ahead.

💡 What we’ve been up to
🔎 WIshbox Founder Rana Sweis participated in a panel titled "Is freelance journalism sustainable?" at the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) Conference held in Amman.
♻️ We are gearing up to launch an animated video for the French media development agency CFI titled The Climate is Ours, and It's Our Right. The video focuses on climate change, which has led to water scarcity and environmental pollution due to car emissions and other factors.
🧑🏻💻 We welcomed our new intern Khaled Walid, who is our research rockstar (and brainstorming buddy)! This radio and television master (who holds a master’s degree from Yarmouk University) joined Wishbox Media back in August with a passion for exploration. His creative spark has already made him an invaluable member of the team, and we can't wait to see what he dreams up next!
📈 Next month, we'll unveil our brand-new multimedia report exploring how AI is shaping Jordan’s university students. To bring you the most comprehensive picture, we'll be hitting the ground running with interviews with students from different walks of life.
🎙️ Live Talks: As we wrapped up our live talks series, we will be going out with a bang! For the finale, we will be flipping the script and turn the spotlight on the team behind Live Talks and how the show was prepared. #LIVETALKS.
🎧 You can watch and listen to our final LiveTalk on Thursday, December 28 on our Instagram account.🖥️ Please check out our list of communication services to see if we can offer what you need. We’re dedicated to producing meaningful and thought-provoking content, and this month’s exciting collaborations and achievements propel us further on our mission to make a positive impact in the media industry.
🗄️ From the archives
🖼️ One of our media offerings is creating impactful infographics on a variety of topics. A couple of years ago, we made the infographic below that shows how the MENA region has the largest youth population in the world, with more than half of its residents being under the age of 30.
